Maintenance and care of vehicles or systems

Dismantling, repairing and assembling vehicle components or systems

Testing and repairing electrical and electronic systems

Testing and repairing control and regulation systems

Inspection and maintenance of frames and chassis

Testing and maintaining power transmission and braking systems

Assembling and adjusting bicycles and systems

Provision and transfer of goods and services

How does the training work?

2 days per week theoretical instruction at the OSZ Kfz-Technik

1 day per week of practical training at the OSZ Automotive Technology

2 days per week internship in a bicycle repair shop*, which you have to find yourself beforehand.

*You must find the internship yourself during the summer holidays. You must provide us with your company's contact details on the first day of school.

What are you doing later?

They assemble bicycles from components, assemblies and systems, equip them with accessories and additional equipment and maintain them.



They work in companies that assemble or repair bicycles. They often work in the bicycle and bicycle accessories trade. But they are also needed in bicycle rental companies.

• LUSD registration form (Teacher-Teacher-School Database): Please contact the sending school or the Youth Employment Agency.

• Application for admission to the BFS

• Internship contract (due on the first school day after the holidays)

• Cover letter and CV

• Application photo (mobile phone photo also possible)

• Half-yearly report 10th grade

• Proof of vocational qualification BBR

• Information about work and social behavior

• Certificate of completion upon receipt
